When it is you who married, you're supposed to be doing that because you love the other person, but when it's your parents that decide who marries you, it is because there has been some ARRANGEMENT between the two families

Love or attraction doesn't necessarily come into the picture.When an adult child chooses to marry someone it is more often because they love someone....that's why it is called a love marriage.

Consider; the word 'f****t' refers to a man who is attracted to men. But it doesn't JUST m! ean that; if it did, it wouldn't make sense to use it as an insult to straight men. 'F****t' implies perversion, promiscuity, an affront to God, et.c. So no POLITE person uses it to describe a gay man. In exactly the same way, 'tranny' doesn't JUST refer to someone who is trans; the added associations (including slutty (hence it's use in porn), unfeminine [and also, paradoxically, hyperfeminine], fake, sexually perverted, deceptive, coarse, ugly, over-made-up, bitchy & aggressive, to name a few) mean that using it, even if not being intentionally offensive, is very insulting.
