answers 0:I have 10 cavities and no insurance..should i get them filled now even tho its gonna cost alot..200 for a deep filling and 130 for the rest or should i wait to find a welfare dentist...will they get worse in the meantime??answers 1:there is this thing called brushing your teeth...answers 2:They can get worse, especially the deep one. The risk is that the cavities might invade the center of the teeth, and then you'd need root canals and crowns. I'd try to find a cheap-o dentist.answers 3:Yes, your cavities may get worse. At the least, you should start treatment with the worst cavities, to make sure you avoid needing a root canal. Any dentist can give you a treatment plan, which will say which teeth can't wait and which ones are not a serious problem yet. That way, you can form a strategy to ! get the filling in the order that they matter and on a schedule you can afford. If there is a dental school in your city, you should also look into becoming a patient there. The treatment will not be free, but it will be much less than the cost of a private dentist (one half or even one third). Or, if you qualify for medicaid, do a Google or Yahoo search for "medicaid dentist in [name of your state]." Most states have a lot of different dentists who accept medicaid payments. Good luck, and I hope this helps....answers 4:yeah get them filled but call around a few more dentist and see if you can get it cheaper...of course i don't know where you live???i live in florida and i found a dentist that will fill one surface filling for 85 dollars....i just recently went to the dentist because my tooth hurt and BECAUSE I WAITED 8 YEARS until i went i just found out that i need a root canal-499 dollars a crown for the one tooth 899 dollars...and i have 14 cavities 3 of them might ! need crowns....and i floss and brush twice a day....but if you! don't go for a cleaning ever then your teeth never get all the way clean....i hope you go to the dentist and get them filled ....i wish i would have cause the last time i went 8 YEARS AGO i only had 6 cavities....ugh i'm looking at a few grand to fix mine now...AND I DONT HAVE INSURANCE...good luck...
